In recent years, obtaining approval for retail warehouses and retail parks in Germany has become considerably difficult and with the market also being partly saturated, the development of projects in other European countries has become increasingly important for the GEDO Group.

We have already gathered experience in developing retail properties in Austria, Italy, Poland, Sweden and the Czech Republic.

Thus, the GEDO Group is currently securing locations and developing concrete projects in various project phases in Sweden, and Austria. In Spain and Portugal we are conducting market studies and targeting sites for retail parks.

In addition GEDO is planning to develop inner-city shopping centres in selected
European cities in the next few years. Cities are already being targeted and locations secured for this purpose
